Silo City is the perfect spot to listen to live blues. With a giant stage, an industrial backdrop, the Buffalo River, room to move about, a beer and wine tent, food vendors, and some of the best blues acts in the region, this festival continues to grow in popularity.
Special musical presentations at the Music Education tent featuring student musicians who participate in both the Blues in the Schools and the Youth Mentoring programs.
This festival is a WNY Blues Society event, with proceeds going towards promoting the blues scene in the region. Blues is growing in popularity in Buffalo, with a devote older generation following the bands, and a younger generation starting to tune in. These types of music festivals put Buffalo on the map for blues, while paying respect to the artists that have been playing around town for decades. Come listen to some of the legends, and catch a few of the up and coming musicians that will one day be carrying the blues torch in Buffalo.
