Woman and her 2 children hit by car in west Phoenix

Phoenix officers responded to the area of Missouri and 35th avenues for reports of multiple people being hit by a car.

PHOENIX — A woman and her two children were hospitalized after being hit by a car Tuesday night in west Phoenix, according to officials with the Phoenix Police Department. 

All three are expected to be OK, officials said. 

Phoenix officers were called to the area of 35th and Missouri avenues in west Phoenix just before 8 p.m. for reports of multiple people being hit by a car. Officers found the woman and her children injured at the scene when they arrived.

The vehicle that was involved did stay at the scene, officials said.

Further details, including the ages of the children, were not released and officials said the investigation remains ongoing.
