Roseburg Police Department
Friday
8:12 a.m. — Person was reported for, and admitted to, defecating in front of a business in the 700 block of Northwest Garden Valley Road.
8:48 a.m. — Man tried to drive around an illegally parked vehicle at Northeast Fulton Avenue and Northeast Lincoln Street, but hit it. Officers could not contact the parked car’s owner; a citation was left on the vehicle and available information was exchanged.
9:30 a.m. — Man caused more than $1,000 in damages to a hotel room at the Holiday Inn Express Roseburg. He was transported to Mercy Medical Center for medical issues.
7:45 p.m. — Man was contacted in the 160 block of Northeast Garden Valley Boulevard for leaving his 3-year-old son in an unattended vehicle for more than 10 minutes.
10:15 p.m. — Woman crashed into a guard rail in the 1600 block of Southeast Stephens Street and showed signs of impairment.
11 p.m. — Woman tried to steal $425 of merchandise from Walmart, but employees were able to stop her.
Saturday
12:20 a.m. — Woman failed to stop when emerging from a driveway in the 2400 block of Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard, drove about 10 miles faster than the speed limit and showed signs of impairment.
7:58 a.m. — Two people had prohibited camps in a prohibited area near the river in the 1700 block of West Harvard Avenue.
2:07 p.m. — The passenger of a vehicle was the reported suspect of stealing more than $1,000 worth of merchandise from Home Depot; the driver was not involved and intentionally unaware of the situation.
8:40 p.m. — Woman had a large prohibited camp in the 600 block of Southeast Flint Street which blocked a majority of the bike path.
Sunday
12:58 a.m. — A 19-year-old man and 17-year-old girl raced their vehicles southbound on Northeast Stephens Street. The male had a probation violation warrant from Yamhill County.
1:39 a.m. — Man made several improper lane changes and showed signs of impairment at West Harvard Avenue and West Madrone Street.
3:03 a.m. — Woman was reported as jumping in front of cars and laying down in the roadway in the 1900 block of Southeast Stephens Street.
9:30 a.m. — Man admitted to setting a public garbage bin on fire at Northeast Fulton Street and Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard.
1:30 p.m. — Man was upset he couldn’t get his money order at the Western Union machine in the 1400 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard, so he kicked the front door off its tracks.
3:30 p.m. — A 17-year-old at River Rock Juvenile Facility threw a chair inside and broke door causing $1,500 in damages. He ran from the location and was found in front of the Douglas County Courthouse.
11 p.m. — A 17-year-old was cited for harassment after using a gel gun to shoot two random people at Southeast Washington Avenue and Southeast Jackson Street.
Sutherlin Police Department
Monday, April 15
2:18 p.m. — Woman had given birth four days prior and her estranged husband showed up intoxicated and caused a disturbance at her residence in the 200 block of Valley Court.
Wednesday
2:55 p.m. — Woman’s dog ran off her property and bit a person on the leg twice causing injury as they rode their bile by the residence in the 1700 block of Jasper Avenue.
4 p.m. — Man trespassed and was arrested numerous times from a property he returned to in the 1300 block of West Central Avenue and was contacted later at Dollar Tree for failing to check in with his parole officer.
Saturday
2:26 p.m. — Man drove with a misdemeanor suspended license in the 1200 block of West Central Avenue.
Sunday
12:58 a.m. — An intoxicated minor peed on the Taco Bell building in the 100 block of Clover Leaf Loop.

Douglas County Sheriff’s Office
Justin Daniel Evans, 31, of Myrtle Creek, on suspicion of first-degree theft, fraudulent use of credit card, computer crime and identity theft.
Saturday
Myrtle Creek Police Department
Isaiah Thomas Lee Rookstool, 18, of Myrtle Creek, on suspicion of unauthorized use motor vehicle, possession of a stolen vehicle, attempt to elude police officer-foot, reckless driving and recklessly endangering another person.
Roseburg Police Department
Geoffrey Michael Shorey, 32, of Roseburg, on suspicion of parole violation and first-degree theft.
Sunday
Myrtle Creek Police Department
Jesse Louis Branham, 42, of Myrtle Creek, on suspicion of unlawful possession of cocaine, driving while suspended or revoked and misdemeanor agency hold.
Winston Police Department
Jacob Dean Allen, 44, of Myrtle Creek, on suspicion of unauthorized use motor vehicle and second-degree criminal trespass.
