Popular Montgomery restaurant closing

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - Jan’s Beach House Grill announced Monday that the popular eatery and live music spot will be closing down.

According to a Facebook post by the restaurant, the building they occupy has been sold and will be torn down.

The post stated that the new building owner is allowing Jan’s to stay in the building for 90 days after the closing date. The post went on to say that, hopefully, the closing date will be in June, meaning that they will be able to celebrate their 12th anniversary in September with one last luau.

Jan’s Beach House Grill is located at 850 Eastern Blvd in Montgomery and is known for grilled and fried beef, chicken, and seafood, as well as live music performances Wednesday through Saturday.
