EP County celebrates ‘National County Government Month’

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — El Paso County is celebrating “National County Government Month” (NCGM) to show how counties across the nation keep communities safe and lively.

The County’s theme for NCGM this year is “ForwardTogether” highlighting the role of county governments to the community, according to the news release by the County.

During the following months, the County will celebrate NCGM with a variety of events and initiatives for El Pasoans.

Here are the projects that will be presented:

  • Phase Two of the Capital Planning Community Meetings

  • The opening of Ascarate Park All-Abilities Playground

  • Continuing efforts of Veterans Capital of U.S.A, celebrating women veterans

  • Promotion of the County’s Historic Mission Trial

  • Binational Progress with the Tornillo Port of Entry
