Comedian Hasan Minhaj will perform at the Morris as part of Notre Dame's IDEA Week

SOUTH BEND — The University of Notre Dame’s IDEA Week presents comedian Hasan Minhaj at 7 p.m. April 25 at the Morris Performing Arts Center, 211 N. Michigan St.

Minhaj is a two-time Peabody Award-winning comedian best known for his breakout Netflix special “Homecoming King” and his critically acclaimed political satire show “Patriot Act With Hasan Minhaj” for Netflix, which won a Peabody, an Emmy and a Television Academy Honor.

His second one-hour comedy special “The King’s Jester,” premiered on Netflix in October 2022. He also was a seniorcorrespondent at Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show With Jon Stewart” and headlined the 2017 White House Correspondents’ Dinner.

IDEA Week is an innovation festival hosting business, technology and entertainment events to provide entrepreneurs, students and attendees with the practical knowledge, creative inspiration and social foundation they need to innovate within their own careers, studies and communities.
