ANTIOCH, Ill. — A man died after his motorcycle apparently suffered a mechanical failure in Antioch Wednesday morning.
Officers received a call just after 6 a.m. regarding a person lying in a ditch near Deep Lake Road and Route 173. Officers responded and found the body of a man in the ditch approximately 40 feet away from a motorcycle.
Police said the motorcycle appeared to have suffered some sort of a mechanical failure.
No foul play was suspected. Anyone with additional information can call police at 847-270-9111.
