With the news of O.J. Simpson’s death on Wednesday, the illicit affair rumours between him and Kris Jenner have been brought into the celebrity spotlight once more.
Simpson passed away at the age of 76 at his home in Las Vegas, Nevada, earlier this week, two months after being diagnosed with prostate cancer. It was alleged during a 2019 episode of the family's previous reality series, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, that the 68-year-old matriarch and ‘momager' of her six children, had slept with Simpson while they were both married to other people, igniting the persistent rumours that Khloé Kardashian was in fact his daughter.
The rumours were so persistent that they once brought the ‘reality TV queen’ to tears when they resurfaced on the 25th anniversary of her best fried, Nicole Simpson’s, murder, who was married to Simpson at the time of the alleged affair.

The marriage was marred by Simpson's domestic abuse of his wife, ending with their divorce in 1992 before she was stabbed to death on June 12, 1994, along with her friend Ron Goldman. While Simpson was tried and subsequently acquitted for their murders, he was later found liable for their deaths in 1997 following a civil trial filed by Goldman’s father, resulting in Simpson being ordered to pay £27 million ($33.5 million) in the verdict.
In the 2019 episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Jenner was filmed calling the disgraced NFL star a “f***ing piece of s***” when confronted yet again with the affair rumours, saying: “It’s really kind of pathetic that when rumours get started, the media gives it life and breath and on the anniversary of Nicole’s death. It’s so tasteless and disgusting.”
“After 25 years, you’d think it just wouldn’t be a thing,” she said visibly upset and starting to cry: “It’s just lie after lie after lie after lie, and it’s only so much that one human being can take.”
During the episode, Jenner also revealed she planned to sue the publication: “I just think it’s really unfair to Nicole’s family, my family, for these stupid rumours to be flying around out there. My team has decided to take legal action because once and for all I have to do something about it.”
Simpson has always denied the rumours he was father to 39-year-old Khloé Kardashian, rather than Jenner’s husband at the time, the late Robert Kardashian. One of Simpson’s best friends and a member of his legal ‘dream team’ during his murder trial, Kardashian died at 59 in 2003 from esophageal cancer.
In a tweet in 2019, Simpson said: “Bob Kardashian, he was like a brother to me. He was a great guy. But I never – and I want to stress, never in any way, shape or form – have I ever had any interest in Kris romantically or sexually, and I never got any indication that she had any interest in me.”
“Khloé, like all the girls, I am very proud of, just like I know Bob would be if he was here. But the simple facts of the matter is she is not mine.”
