TEXAS (KXII) - Shoppers in Texas will not have to pay sales tax on emergency supplies this weekend.

Eligible items include first aid kits, batteries, generators under $3,000 and carbon monoxide detectors.

A full list of eligible items can be found on the Texas Comptroller’s website here.

Some items that are not eligible include toilet paper, camping supplies and face masks.

The tax free holiday runs from Saturday through Monday.
