Stock with south Alabama ties takes biggest hit

Stocks were mostly in the negative Tuesday on our Mobile and Alabama Stock Report, and one company with south Alabama ties suffered the biggest drop.

ArcelorMittal sank 6.6%. The Luxembourg-based steel manufacturing corporation has a steel processing plant -- a 50/50 joint venture with Nippon Steel Corp. -- in Calvert, Alabama.

Overall, most U.S. stocks slipped as Treasury yields climbed again on rising expectations that interest rates may stay high for a while.
