Breaking: Dana Air Skids Off Runway In Lagos (Photos)

An aircraft, belonging to Dana Air on Tuesday, skidded off the runway in Lagos State.

The incident happened at the Muritala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos, and a source confirmed to our correspondent that no casualties were recorded, but the aircraft suffered minimal damage.

Reports have it that there was a bad weather situation in Lagos.

Our correspondent gathered that calm has, however, been restored after the near crash incident involving the plane with registration number 5N BKI flying from Abuja to Lagos.

A Statement released by Dana Shortly after, confirmed the incident stating that all 83 passengers and crew onboard the flight disembarked safely without injuries

The airline has also updated the Accident Investigation Bureau (AIB) and the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) on the incident, with the aircraft involved grounded by the maintenance team for further investigation.

FG Tests E-gate At Abuja International Airport

The Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led Federal Government on Friday test-ran the electronic gates (e-gates) installed at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.
