Town of Pembroke names new police chief

PEMBROKE, N.C. (WBTW) — Interim police chief Adrian Hunt took his oath of office Wednesday making him the new police chief for the Town of Pembroke.

Hunt took his oath of office at the Pembroke Town Hall. He served as the interim police chief for one year and four months.

“I intend to continue to build a professional proactive police department that incorporates the community members to find new innovative ways and programs to help fight and deter crime within the Town of Pembroke,” Hunt said.
