Lyman wildfire in Skagit County is now 60 percent contained

Just after 6 p.m. Sunday the Washington State Department of Natural Resources reported that the Lyman wildfire was 60 percent contained. The fire is about 20 acres in size.

The fire was reported on Saturday afternoon. It is located near the town of Lyman, north of State Route 20 in Skagit County.

The DNR says that rain and cooler temperatures overnight kept the fire from growing.
