LUCKILY, NO ONE WAS HURT. NEW TONIGHT. TAKE A LOOK AT THIS VIDEO. THE IOWA DOT CAPTURED TUESDAY. THEY SAY A DRIVER FELL ASLEEP DRIVING LATE NIGHT AND RAN HIS CAR OFF THE ROAD. OH GOODNESS. YOU SEE THE TRUCK HITS A STOP SIGN BEFORE FLYING INTO THE DITCH, MOVING AT A PRETTY GOOD SPEED THERE. IT HAPPENED ON US 20 NEAR FORT DODGE. The Iowa Department of Transportation captured what could have been a deadly situation last Tuesday.The DOT says a drowsy driver fell asleep while driving late at night and ran his truck off the road, but not before hitting a stop sign and sending it flying. The Iowa Department of Transportation captured what could have been a deadly situation last Tuesday.
The DOT says a drowsy driver fell asleep while driving late at night and ran his truck off the road, but not before hitting a stop sign and sending it flying. They said the driver is expected to be OK.
