17-year-old charged in Wednesday’s west Laredo shooting

LAREDO, Tx. (KGNS) - A 17-year-old is arrested following a shooting that injured a woman in west Laredo.
Laredo Police Investigators were able to identify Rolando Flores, 17, as the person who shot at a home located at the 2100 block of West Anna Avenue.
According to reports, a 48-year-old woman, who is known to the victim was shot while she was inside her home.
Police say Flores allegedly shot from the street, which went into the victim’s room.
The victim was shot in the lower waist and was taken to LMC in stable condition.
Flores was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and more arrests may be pending.
The investigation remains ongoing.
