FAA cancels ground stop for all Alaska Airlines flights
On Wednesday, the FAA announced Alaska Airlines flights were grounded nationwide.Alaska Airlines has flights to and out of Orlando. According to NBC, Alaska Airlines said in a statement that an issue arose “while performing an upgrade to the system that calculates our weight and balance.”The advisory excluded SkyWest, which provides regional service for Alaska Airlines.“We’re working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible,” the airline said in a statement. “We apologize for the inconvenience and encourage guests to check the status of their flights on alaskaair.com or the Alaska App prior to heading to the airport."Shortly before noon, the groundstop was cancelled.
