SUMITON — Sumiton Christian stayed hot on Tuesday, picking up a pair of home wins at Aderholt Field.
The Eagles scored 28 runs on 26 hits on the day, beating Dora 10-0 and Oak Grove 18-7. Both games went five innings.
Sumiton Christian, which evened its record at 19-19 on the season, has won nine of its last 10 games.
The Eagles allowed just one hit in the win over Dora. Starting pitcher Bailey Phillips gave up one hit and one walk with five strikeouts in four innings. Izzy Ingle, the lone senior on the team, pitched the final inning.
At the plate, Ali Kelly led the way against Dora, going 3 for 3 with a double, two runs and four RBIs. Ava McCrary was 1 for 3 with a run and two RBIs, Ingle was 1 for 3 with two runs and Annalace Rice was 1 for 1 with an RBI.
In the second game, Oak Grove held a 5-3 lead going into the bottom of the second.
Sumiton Christian erupted for six runs in the second and the third for a 15-5 advantage.
The Eagles had 19 hits in the win.
Phillips was 3 for 3 with a double, four runs and two RBIs, Ingle was 3 for 3 with two doubles, two runs and an RBI, Hayden McCrary was 3 for 3 with two runs and two RBIs, Kelly was 3 for 4 with a double, three runs and an RBI and Ava McCrary was 2 for 3 with four runs and an RBI.
Kelly got the win, giving up three earned runs with two strikeouts in four innings. Ingle pitched the final inning, allowing two earned runs.
The Eagles will host the Class 2A, Area 12 Tournament starting Monday at 11 a.m. Sumiton Christian's first game will be against the Locust Fork-Cold Springs winner at 1 p.m.

Cordova 11, Carbon Hill 10, nine innings
Cordova rallied from a five-run deficit to earn an 11-10, eight-inning win at Carbon Hill on Tuesday.
Carbon Hill, which saw its nine-game winning streak come to an end, led 7-3 after the first inning and 8-3 going into the fifth inning. Cordova scored five runs over the next three innings, tying the game at 8-8 in the top of the seventh.
After a scoreless eighth inning, Cordova pushed across three runs in the top of the ninth. Cordova got RBI singles from Shyla Armistad, Mia Vance and Chloe Kacharos in the inning.
Carbon Hill scored two runs in the bottom of the inning.
Cordova (18-22) had 17 hits. Mia Harbinson was 3 for 4 with a run and an RBI, Armistad, Vance, Kacharos and Camden Johnson each had two hits and scored two runs. Cassie Bailey got the win.
For Carbon Hill (28-18), Kalee Edwards was 3 for 4 with three runs and two RBIs and Ella Reese Wright hit a home run and drove in four runs. Ella Hyde took the loss.

Cullman 11, Jasper 9
Cullman's Dracen Bates hit a three-run home run in the top of the seventh inning, giving the Bearcats an 11-9 win at Jasper on Tuesday.
Jasper held an 8-5 lead going into the fifth inning.
The game included six homers - three by each team.
For Jasper (22-6-1), Missy Odom finished 2 for 3 with two home runs and three RBIs, Lilly Banks was 3 for 4 with a double, two runs and two RBIs, Emma Lou Franks was 3 for 4 with two doubles and three RBIs and Idaysia Mercer hit a home run.
Banks took the loss in relief, allowing three earned runs in two innings.

Hewitt-Trussville 2, Curry 1
Hewitt-Trussville scored two runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to take down Curry 2-1 on Tuesday. Curry (30-8-1) took a 1-0 lead in the third inning on a Jenna Madison RBI single scored Aubrey Lackey. Hewitt-Trussville took advantage of a walk, single and two-run double in the sixth. Both teams had three hits in the game.
For Curry, Madison, Lanie West and Ansley Brown each had hits.
Skiely Perry took the loss, allowing two runs on three hits and two walks with seven strikeouts in six innings.

Lynn 12, Oakman 9
Lynn won a shootout at Oakman thanks to a six-run sixth inning.
The Bears had 18 hits in the game. Dereka Bryan was 4 for 5 with two runs and an RBI while Kamri Tittle was 3 for 5 with a double, two runs and two RBIs and Bella Harper as 3 for 5 with a run and an RBI. Harper got the win.
For Oakman, Karley Bruner was 2 for 4 with a double, a run and three RBIs and both Sophie Davis and Cashan Corry were 2 for 4 with a double, a run and an RBI.

Winston County 5, Hubbertville 0
Madison Comeens tossed a complete game shutout at Hubbertville on Tuesday, allowing six hits and one walk with six strikeouts. Libby Harper was 3 for 3 with a double, Lizzy Bass was 2 for 4 with two RBIs and Maci Blevins was 2 for 2 with two runs.
