MSHP says 6-year-old boy taken by non-custodial mother may be heading to KCK

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Jefferson City Police Department has issued an “Endangered Person Advisory” for a missing 6-year-old boy.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Ahrin James West was picked up just after 3 p.m. at Idlewood Drive and Bluebird Drive in Jefferson City by 40-year-old Nicole Marbut, who is a non-custodial mother.

Suspect in custody, second suspect sought following threat at KCK middle school

West is described as standing 4’0″ and weighs 65 pounds. He has brown hair, brown eyes and is wearing a gray shirt and black shorts.

The suspect is described as standing 5’11” and weighs 170 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes.

Marbut’s vehicle is described as a white 2010 Nissan Murano bearing Kansas plate 905MPH. The vehicle also has a black luggage rack, silver rims and a black stripe.

MSHP said Marbut picked up the child from school and is headed to Kansas City, Kansas. A biracial woman may also be in the vehicle.
