Beebe Health to host Spring Wellness Open House

LEWES, Del. – Beebe is inviting community members to a day of highlighting health, Saturday.

The spring wellness open house will give community members a chance to inquire about any health concerns they may have, and also get a look at one of their newest pieces of equipment, the Ion Endoluminal Device. It’s used to detect and remove masses or lesions.

Executive director of surgical services, Laura Tolson, is looking forward to the abundance of resources that will be on display.

“We decided to put this event together, to allow folks back in to tour the facility,” Tolson said. “[They] also have access to free community screenings, so we’re going to have one of our oncology surgeons; he’s going to be here on site, he’s going to be doing free skin cancer screenings in our mobile health clinic.”

The open house will take place from 11:30am-2pm at the Specialty Surgical Hospital.
