Crews respond to fire call at North Chase Nursing and Rehabilitation Center

NORTHCHASE, N.C. (WECT) - New Hanover County Fire Rescue crews responded to a structure fire call at the North Chase Nursing and Rehabilitation Center Thursday morning.
According to NHCFR, the fire had started in the dishwasher and was out on arrival. Crews worked to ventilate the facility.
There is no word of any injuries, and the nursing home followed safety precautions and evacuated the residents, per NHCFR.
The fire marshal is investigating the fire.
