Steps and Sips Parkinson’s Awareness event

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - In honor of Parkinson’s Awareness, the Bike Box Project and Rock Steady Boxing in the city of New Bern are putting on an event this weekend to raise money in a fun way for a great cause.
It’s called “Steps and Sips” and on April 27th from 9 am to noon at the Freshwater Brewery in New Bern, community members can get together for $35/ticket to participate in a walk or run. The flyer mentions “a walk, a beer, and a breakfast for Parkinson’s Awareness.”
There is a 1 mile and 3.1 mile option.
