Vehicles being transported catch fire on interstate in Oxford

OXFORD, Ala. (WBMA) — Firefighters respond to a commercial vehicle fire on an interstate in Oxford Wednesday evening.

The Oxford Fire Department said the cars caught fire east of the 179 Exit on Interstate 20 around 7:30 p.m.

The fire department said firefighters have closed all but one lane.
