10 Terrible Movies That Reward You For Staying Until The End

The most recent offering from acclaimed director Alex Garland, Civil War divided opinion amongst film fans.

The story, which tracks a group of war photographers as they travel across a wartorn United States, was praised by some for being intentionally apolitical, whilst others felt it lacked enough significant detail to tie everything together.

One thing people were in agreement on is Cailee Spaeny’s character Jessie, one of the most annoying people to ever feature in a movie.

A rare part of the film that most people enjoyed was its ending - a massive gunfight that engulfs the streets of Washington D.C. As the insurgent forces close in on the President, there is a flurry of action all across the nation’s capital, including an incredible scene where the Lincoln Memorial is blown to pieces with a rocket.

This culminates in a full-on assault on the White House, all of which is captured by the intrepid journalists. It’s action-packed from start to finish and feels like it really delivers on the movie’s premise of showing what America would look like if it succumbed to a modern internal struggle.
