Virginia State Police continue to investigate a Wednesday morning crash involving a train.
At 8:17 a.m., Wednesday, police responded to a crash involving a privately-owned street sweeper-like truck, which was crossing the railroad tracks near the intersection of Pairgin Rd. and Wallace Pike.
The vehicle was struck by a Norfolk-Southern train, according to a written statement.
The truck's operator suffered a minor injury.
The crash occurred on private property and remains under investigation.
