HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) - State police are looking to identify the suspect who withdrew funds from a bank with a stolen ID.

Police say the woman withdrew $6,000 from the Northeast Family Federal Credit Union on 361 Boston Post Road in Windham on April 17th using the victim’s information.

She then went to the Manchester branch, located at 233 Main Street, and attempted to do the same thing.

The bank teller recognized the woman was not who she said she was and contacted police.

According to police, the suspect used the victim’s demographics, presented a fake Massachusetts driver’s license and the victims’ social security number.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Trooper Bilgen at Melissa.Bilgen@ct.gov, or by calling Troop K at 860-465-5400. All tips can remain confidential.
