The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office charged another juvenile with making threats of violence against Northwest Middle School in Winston-Salem, authorities said Friday.
The sheriff’s office had charged two other juveniles earlier this week with making threats of violence also against Northwest Middle School and Flat Rock Middle School, the sheriff’s office said.
In the latest incident that happened Friday, a juvenile was charged with one count of communicating threats of mass violence on school property, the sheriff’s office said.
The sheriff’s office was provided social media posts that linked the juvenile to the threat.
The sheriff’s office didn’t identify the juvenile because of his or her age, the agency said.
William Wynn, the principal of Northwest Middle School, has notified parents and guardians about the incident, the sheriff’s office said.

On Wednesday, the sheriff’s office said that another juvenile had been charged with one count of communicating threats of mass violence on school property against Northwest Middle School. A third juvenile has been charged with two counts of the same charge at Flat Rock Middle School.
Parents of students at both schools have been notified by the district, the sheriff’s office said.
“The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office takes all threats, against our schools, and community, seriously,” Chief Deputy Henry Gray Jr. said Friday in a statement. “I cannot stress enough, whether these photos were taken at home or if they are copied from a website or social media, you will be charged.
“The disruption and the emotional anxiety that these incidents place on the community will not be tolerated,” Gray said. “We encourage parents to always remain vigilant in monitoring their children’s use of social media.”
