Dollar, Treasury Yields Are Stable At High Levels Ahead of Treasury Auctions

The dollar and U.S. Treasury yields are consolidating their recent rise as market attention turns to this week's U.S. Treasury auctions, Lee Hardman, senior currency analyst at MUFG, said in a note.

"After the recent adjustment higher in U.S. yields, market participants will be watching closely to see how the Treasury market absorbs a combined $183 billion of two-, five- and seven-year bond sales scheduled for this week," he said.

The two-year U.S. Treasury yield is trading at 4.980%, up 1 basis point, while the 10-year U.S. Treasury yield is trading unchanged at 4.621%, according to Tradeweb.

The DXY index, which measures the dollar's value against a trade-weighted basket of currencies, edges down 0.1% to 105.934.
