Anthony “Akariee” Stokley models clothing from Kingdom Cords on Saturday during a fashion show to benefit the local NAACP’s Travis Leon Jackson Scholarship award.

Student volunteers took to the stage at Owensboro High School on Saturday afternoon to walk in a fashion show to benefit the local NAACP’s Travis Leon Jackson Scholarship award.

“We got here around 9 a.m. to practice, which was good because I’ve never done anything like this,” said senior Anthony “Akariee” Stokley, 18.
