WITH POLICE ABOUT THE BRUTAL BEATING AND THE BRUTAL ATTACK HAPPENED HERE AT THIS 7-ELEVEN ON MACARTHUR. BUT POLICE SAY IT STARTED WITH A HEATED ARGUMENT INSIDE, AND THAT LEFT THE SUSPECT FUMING. THE VICTIM WAS FOUND THERE BRUTALLY ATTACKED, UNCONSCIOUS UPON OFFICERS ARRIVAL. A 46 YEAR OLD MAN WAS BEATEN UNTIL HIS BRAIN BLED OUTSIDE AN OKLAHOMA CITY GAS STATION ON SUNDAY, APRIL 7TH. IN THE EARLY MORNING HOURS, TWO MEN GOT INTO AN ARGUMENT INSIDE THE 7-ELEVEN ON MACARTHUR, ACCORDING TO THE POLICE REPORT. THE SUSPECT STORMED OUT OF THE DOOR, BUT HE DIDN’T LEAVE. POLICE SAY THE SUSPECT BLINDSIDE HEADED THE VICTIM, STRIKING HIM IN THE HEAD WITH AN OBJECT HE GRABBED FROM HIS CAR. THAT SUSPECT FLED IN A VEHICLE. OFFICERS WERE ABLE TO TRACK DOWN THAT VEHICLE. UNFORTUNATELY, OUR LEADS ARE EXHAUSTED AT THIS POINT. WE HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO IDENTIFY THE SUSPECT IN THIS CASE. FIRST RESPONDERS FOUND THE MAN UNCONSCIOUS AND HIS HEAD SWOLLEN. HE WAS RUSHED TO THE HOSPITAL WHERE HE SPENT SEVERAL DAYS IN A MEDICALLY INDUCED COMA WITH A BRAIN BLEED. Police said it started with a heated argument inside that left the suspect fuming.When the victim walked out the doors, the suspect was waiting for him with a weapon. “A victim was found there brutally attacked, unconscious upon officer’s arrival,” said Dillon Quirk, the Oklahoma City Police Department's public information officer. On April 7 in the early morning, two men got into an argument inside the 7-Eleven. According to the police report, the suspect exchanged words and “stormed out of the door,” but he didn't leave. Police said the suspect blindsided the victim, striking him in the head with an object he grabbed from his car. “That suspect fled in a vehicle. Officers were able to track down that vehicle,” Quirk said. “Unfortunately, our leads are exhausted at this point.
