LANSING, Mich. (WJRT) - The Michigan Lottery is expanding its reach beyond nearly 11,000 businesses throughout the state to the world's largest retailer.
Walmart is adding 19 of its 90 Michigan stores to the list of Michigan Lottery retailers.
Beginning this month and continuing through June, the lottery will be placing self-serve kiosks at select Walmart locations in Michigan. However, the company did not identify which of the stores will be included.
Michigan Lottery officials say the kiosks will provide players more convenience and help reach the goal of maximizing the lottery's contribution to the Michigan School Aid Fund.
