FIRST ALERT: Crash closes lanes on I-26 east just before Ashley Phosphate

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - A crash on Interstate 26 eastbound has two lanes closed and is causing a miles-long backup Friday morning.

The crash occurred at mile marker 207 just before the Highway 52 connector and has two left lanes closed.

Cameras in the area show traffic backed up more than four miles; past the College Park Road exit.
