Most of the ENC area will see waves of rain showers throughout our Sunday, as rain will could fall heavy at times. Rain totals will be in the ballpark from 0.50″ to an inch by Monday morning. A few lingering showers could stick around sunrise time along the coastal areas, then we remain partly to mostly cloudy. Highs will be in the 50s and low 60s, as overnight air temperatures fall in the 40s. There is not a risk of any frost or a hard freeze expected, though it will be chilly in the morning hours.

The sunny skies and drier air moves in Tuesday and continuing for most of the week, thanks to an area of high pressure that will be stationed by. Temperatures will remain in the 70s mid-week and lows holding in the mid to upper upper 40s to near 50° at night.

A front will be moving in the area late Thursday and Friday, bringing a small to limited chance of rain, but most will stay stay as we go into the upcoming weekend. A few clouds start to move in, but warmer air will follow behind, allowing us to get back to the upper 70s to near 80° again for the last weekend of April.
