Four people were displaced after a fire tore through their apartment in Jensen Beach on Wednesday night.

Martin County Fire Rescue (MCFR) said at around 9:30 p.m., crews responded to reports of a structure fire on NE Indian River Drive in Jensen Beach.

When crews arrived at the scene firefighters said they found a single-story fourplex engulfed in flames. Video taken at the scene shows black smoke coming from the inside.

The fire was extinguished before 11 p.m., MCFR announced in an update. Crews said there was significant damage to the building.

Fire rescue said no one was injured, however; four people were displaced.
