LAWRENCE COUNTY, Ark. (KAIT) - A truck driver was flown to a hospital following a rollover crash that shut down all lanes of a Lawrence County highway.

According to the Arkansas Department of Transportation, the crash happened on Highway 117 west of Black Rock.

Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office told K8 News a tractor-trailer hauling sand lost control and ran off the highway. The driver then overcorrected and flipped their truck.

The crash shut down all lanes. Crews managed to get the driver out of the truck, who was airlifted to a hospital.
