Tragic ATV crash claims life of 11-year-old Sangerville boy assisting with chores

SANGERVILLE (WGME) - An 11-year-old Sangerville boy is dead after crashing an ATV.

Deputies say this happened near a Sangerville home Tuesday afternoon.

They say the boy was helping do chores at a neighbor’s property, went for a ride after and was eventually found under the ATV and unresponsive.

A neighbor and deputy tried CPR, but the boy died at the scene.

Wardens are still investigating.
