The Warzone Season 3 end date is fast approaching, with Season 3 Reloaded firmly in our crosshairs. Here's when the current Warzone season ends and the new one begins.

The Warzone Season 3 update was an absolute doozy, with Activision re-introducing Rebirth Island with some welcome changes to the Call of Duty title, making it what's easily one of the best Resurgence maps of all time. And while it looks like the upcoming Season 3 Reloaded update won't hit quite as hard as the last one, players can still look forward to the Specialist perk package finally coming to Resurgence, as well as a new killstreak, the new BAL-27 assault rifle and the usual selection of new aftermarket parts and attachments.

Here's when Warzone Season 3 ends and Season 3 Reloaded begins. Spoiler alert, it's at the same time and date as it always is.

When does Warzone Season 3 end?

The Warzone Season 3 end date is Wednesday, May 1. We know this for certain thanks to Activision's recent blog post, which confirmed that the Warzone Season 3 Reloaded start date is Wednesday, May 1 at 5pm BST / 12pm EDT / 9am PDT, and the launch of the mid-season update will signal the end of Season 3.

We're a bit light on details when it comes to Season 3 Reloaded right now, but at first glance, it looks like it could be a pretty underwhelming update. The battle royale title's big map, Urzikstan, won't be getting any major updates, and that's very disappointing, considering it's remained unchanged for quite a while now. There are hints that some of Urzikstan's bunkers could be opened up for the first time, which is something, I guess.

One of the new features coming for Season 3 Reloaded is variable time of day for Rebirth Island, which also includes variable weather conditions. If that's one of the biggest new features, that's not a good sign.

Some of the more minor new additions include a new public event for Resurgence that raises health for all players and raises the number of armour plates players can carry, the Utility Box field upgrade being enabled in Rebirth Island, the Foresight killstreak being introduced and the return of the Weapon Trade Station, which lets you trade in your weapon for a lower rarity one, and a bunch of extra loot. Which, if you're very lucky, could include the newly added Specialist perk package.
