Twang and Alamo Beer Company introduce VIVA Spicy Michelada beer, and Taco Cabana partners with Jarritos for Cinco De Mayo menu.

In this week's Restaurant Roundup: Pullman Market is now open, Twang partners with Alamo Beer Company on a new VIVA Spicy Michelada beer and Taco Cabana partners with Jarritos on new Cinco De Mayo limited-time menu.

Pullman Market now open

Pullman Market, the new culinary hub at the Pearl, is now open for business.

The concept is located within a former glass company headquarters on the southern edge of the entertainment district. Roughly 40,000 square feet of space are occupied by restaurants, a bakery, an artisan butcher, and a grab-and-go market. The two full-service restaurants, Isidore and Nicosi, are slated to open this spring.

Customers can enjoy an "extensive beer and wine selection" and "Texas-based produce and specialties."

Twang partners with Alamo Beer Company on new VIVA Beer

Twang has partnered with Alamo Beer Company to produce a new Spicy Michelada-flavored VIVA beer, which is currently rolling out to local stores.

A Michelada is a popular Mexican drink made with beer, lime juice, Worcestershire sauce, tomato juice and spices. The new Michelada flavored VIVA beer offers the mixed drink in a can, making it easier than ever to enjoy the tasty mixture.

“We are so thrilled to partner with our good friends at Alamo Beer Company,” Twang CEO Elysia Treviño-Gonzales said in a press release. “Our Spicy Michelada Mix pairs perfectly with VIVA Beer, so it felt like a great collaboration to bring a delicious taste of flavors that San Antonians can raise a glass to.”

Michelada fans can stop by the brewery on Sunday, May 5 from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. to try the new product. The beer will be available for purchase, and various food vendors will also be present.
