Minnesota Vikings select Oregon Ducks CB Khyree Jackson in 2024 NFL Draft: What to know

The Minnesota Vikings selected Oregon CB Khyree Jackson with the 108th overall pick in the fourth round of the 2024 NFL Draft. A one-year player for the Ducks, Jackson was Oregon’s No. 1 corner for most of last season.

A two-year reserve for Alabama after starting at a JUCO, Jackson transferred to Oregon for his final season and was named first-team All-Pac-12 and finished second in the conference with three interceptions. The rangy corner mostly worked at outside corner at Oregon and excelled in his lone season with the Ducks against some of the top passing offenses in the country in the Pac-12 like USC and Washington. He led Oregon defenders with an 80.5 overall PFF grade.

Though his career in Eugene was brief, Jackson displayed uncanny run-defense ability and racked up a season-high five tackles with a sack and a career-high two tackles for loss in Oregon’s blowout win over Utah in 2023.

How Khyree Jackson performed at NFL Combine

At the NFL Scouting Combine, Jackson ran the 40-yard dash in 4.50 seconds, tied for 19^th among cornerbacks, though his 1.50-second 10-yard split ranked fifth among the 29-player group. He did not participate in position drills after running the 40 and didn’t run the three-cone or 20-yard shuttle.
