AND WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FOR YOUR SATURDAY COMING UP HERE IN JUST A FEW MINUTES. CHRIS. THANK YOU. THERE ARE NEW POLICIES IN PLACE AT THE GREAT ANDERSON COUNTY FAIR. ONE OF THE FIRST FAIRS OF THE SEASON. OFFICIALS SAY THE CHANGES ARE ALL IN THE NAME OF SAFETY. OUR REY LLERENA HAS MORE ON WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW. THERE’S LOTS TO DO AT THE GREAT ANDERSON COUNTY FAIR. JUST HERE ALONE. YOU HAVE FOOD, GAMES, RIDES AND OTHER PRIZES, BUT OFFICIALS WANT YOU TO KNOW THAT THERE ARE SOME THINGS THEY NEED TO LOOK OUT FOR. ALL TEENAGERS UNDER 17 YEARS OLD MUST NOW BE ACCOMPANIED BY A PARENT AT THE FAIR. IT HAS TO BE A PARENT. IT CAN’T BE, AND A COUSIN, A BROTHER, A FAVORITE FRIEND OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT. IT HAS TO BE A PARENT, AND WE’RE JUST TRYING TO KEEP PEOPLE SAFE AND COMFORTABLE. SO EVERYBODY HAS A GOOD TIME WHILE THEY’RE HERE. OFFICIALS SAY EVERYONE MUST HAVE A CLEAR BAG AND GO THROUGH A METAL DETECTOR. YOU ARE ALLOWED TO BRING A DIAPER BAG. IT’S JUST SUBJECT TO SEARCH. SOME PARENTS SAY THEY APPLAUD THE FAIR FOR CHANGING ITS YOUTH ATTENDANCE POLICY. IT KEEPS THE KIDS OUT OF TROUBLE. THEY’RE PARENTS ARE ACCOUNTABLE FOR THEM. YOU’RE. I MEAN, YOU’RE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR CHILD UNTIL THEY’RE 18. SO I THINK IT’S GREAT. ALL OF THE FAVORITE ATTRACTIONS ARE BACK THIS YEAR, INCLUDING THE PETTING ZOO, PIG RACES, AND THRILL RIDES LIKE THE SUBZERO NO, I DIDN’T LIKE IT AT ALL. FIVE OUT OF TEN AT MOST. AND DON’T FORGET ABOUT ALL OF THE FOOD. YOU’RE NOT HERE WITH THE FAMILY. JUST COME TO LET THE GRANDKIDS ENJOY THEIRSELF AND TO GET SOME VINEGAR FRENCH FRIES. OFFICIALS HOPE THE CHANGES TO THE YOUTH POLICY WILL KEEP IT FAIR FOR ALL UNATTENDED YOUTH. AND THEY’RE HERE AND THEY GET A LITTLE OVER EXUBERANT MAKE FAMILIES UNCOMFORTABLE. SO WE’RE JUST TRYING TO MAKE SURE THAT THAT DOESN’T HAPPEN BECAUSE WE WANT EVERYBODY THAT COMES HERE TO TO FEEL LIKE THEY CAN STAY AND ENJOY THEMSELVES AS LONG AS THEY WANT TO. THE GREAT ANDERSON COUNTY FAIR WILL RUN UNTIL MAY 12TH. REPORTING
