A dog named Trax has attained “celebrity” status because of his remarkable ability to mimic a tornado siren in Beltrami County, Minn.
The accompanying footage, showing Trax responding to a siren test at Lake Bemidji State Park, has been shared by news outlets around the U.S., according to Beltrami County Emergency Management.
“He’s a celebrity,” the agency’s Chris Muller boasted Friday on Facebook. “If you were watching The Weather Channel this morning or a number of other news stations across the country, you may have seen and heard a familiar face and sound. Trax’s little video of his siren karaoke went viral.”
The footage is posted below and note how Trax works toward matching the siren’s pitch.
