COLUMBUS, Miss (WTVA) - The creation of the Lowndes County Sports Hall of Fame was announced at the Lowndes County Courthouse on Tuesday.
Former athletes, coaches, and anyone involved in sports from the Lowndes County area are able to be put into this Hall of Fame.
People are already able start nominating people to be on the inaugural class. All you have to do is go on this website. After you click on the website you can click on the nominate now link and a person can see the criteria for nomination.
The inaugural class is set to be announced next spring.
