Syracuse, N.Y. — The New York State Sportswriters Association has released its small school all-state selections for the 2023-24 boys basketball season.
Sackets Harbor’s Austin Griner was named the Class D player of the year after leading the Patriots to the state championship game. The senior averaged 19.7 points, 6.0 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 2.9 steals per game and drained 69 shots from 3-point range. He was also named an All-CNY all-star.
