LINCOLN COUNTY Ore. (KPTV) - A man was arrested after leading law enforcement on a chase through two different counties Saturday, according to Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.

At 1:11 p.m., a deputy saw a dark-colored minivan driving recklessly and speeding east on Highway 20 near Crystal Creek Loop in Eddyville. The deputy turned their lights on and 33-year-old Gregory Noll of Vancouver pulled over. The deputy said Noll immediately exited the van and was uncooperative.

The deputy used a taser, which hit Noll but was ineffective. Noll got back into his van and sped away from the deputy.

The deputy chased the van east to the Lincoln County line and into Benton County. Multiple times during the chase, the deputy said Noll was throwing items from his van. Spike strips were used several times, but Noll swerved around them.

A man says his credit card was stolen Monday and used to make nearly $7,000 worth of purchases across Portland after he left the card at a gas station pump.

Benton County Sheriff’s Office deputies took over the chase as Noll continued to head east into Philomath. Noll turned around and went west on Highway 20 back into Lincoln County.

Lincoln County Sheriff’s took over again and Noll continued to speed away. Eventually, Noll’s tires were deflated by a spike strip on Highway 20 and Pioneer Mountain Loop by a sergeant with the Oregon State Police.

Once the van was at a full stop, Noll refused to leave. After a short time, he was then taken into custody by deputies.

After being medically cleared at an area hospital, Noll was held at the Lincoln County Jail on charges of reckless driving, attempt to elude, driving under the influence of intoxicants, reckless endangering, interfering with a police officer and offensive littering.

Deputies said no one was hurt.
