Manheim Township’s Ava Byrne, Lebanon’s Kailah Correa, Lancaster Catholic’s Mary Bolesky and Rylee Kraft, Columbia’s Brie Droege and Linville Hill Christian’s Courtney Good, come on down.

You’ve been tabbed all-state basketball performers by the Pennsylvania Sports Writers.

Correa, Bolesky and Droege are repeat selections.

In Class 6A, Correa, a junior, was a first-team pick and Byrne, a senior, was a third-team selection.

In Class 3A, Bolesky, a senior, and Droege, a senior, were first-team picks and Kraft, a senior, was a second-team selection.

And in Class 1A, Good, a sophomore, was a third-team pick.

Girls basketball reporters from around the state nominated and then voted for the all-state team. The lists include top players, plus a Coach of the Year and a Player of the Year in all six classifications.

Correa, Lebanon’s energizer-bunny point guard, averaged 19.0 points a game, drilled 41 3-pointers and helped the Cedars defend their Section 1 title and go to the L-L League championship game for the second year in a row. The Division I blue-chipper will enter her senior season with 1,591 career points — poised to become just the 10th player in league history to hit 2,000 points.

Byrne, Manheim Township’s hard-charging scorer, had a breakout season for the Blue Streaks, leading the league in scoring with a 19.6 average plus 22 3-pointers. She helped Township go to the league, district and state playoffs, and the multi-sport athlete finished her prep career with 1,312 points.

Bolesky and Kraft helped Lancaster Catholic win section, league, district and PIAA championships this past season, as the Crusaders took home the state’s grand prize in March.

Bolesky averaged 14.4 points, knocked down 70 3-pointers and she was Catholic’s consummate point guard and team leader. The American University recruit finished her prep career with 1,345 points. Kraft, a dependable two-way player, chipped in with 12.8 points a game for the Crusaders, and the Shippensburg University recruit wrapped up her prep career with 1,209 points.

Bolesky and Kraft scored 22 points apiece for Catholic in its state-championship victory over Westmont Hilltop.

Droege, a dynamic scorer and East Stroudsburg University recruit, bucketed 18.2 points a game and hit 16 3-pointers for the Crimson Tide, who defended their section crown and went to a district championship game for the fourth year in a row. Droege finished her prep career with a staggering 2,131 points — No. 7 in L-L League history.

Good, a sniper and a top defender in the backcourt, scored 13.6 points a game and canned 76 3-pointers for Linville Hill, which successfully defended its Commonwealth Christian Athletic Conference title and captured the first district championship in program history. Good was a key cog for the Lions, who won 26 games and went to the state quarterfinals.
