Manic Monday: Whores Live at Saint Vitus Bar 2024 Full Set

It had been a very long eight years since perhaps the best noise/sludge band of the past decade
produced the follow-up to their critically acclaimed album Gold, but Atlanta’s finest trio of malcontents
finally did just that last week with the release of their new album War.

Talking, of course, about Whores whose name is a sardonic statement on the role people play to get ahead living in a capitalist society), a band that truly made a name for themselves last decade thanks in large part to their exhilaratingly cathartic and crushing live shows. Speaking from experience, the band somehow manages to sound even heavier and more intense in a live setting than on record (which is really saying something), and judging from this performance at Saint Vitus Bar in Brooklyn earlier this year, they clearly have not lost a step on that front.

Cheers to the return of Whores, a band guaranteed to stun in a live setting, so if they’re coming to a city near you on their current tour, checking them out is highly recommended:
