Police release new pictures in search for Shaun Paul Smith

Police have released CCTV pictures of a man who has absconded while on a visit to Preston from a secure unit.

Shaun Paul Smith was last seen at around 1pm on Thursday 25 April in the ground floor of Fishergate Shopping Centre.

The public are being urged not to approach him, if seen, and to call 999.

A police spokesperson said: “We’re refreshing our appeal to find missing Shaun Paul Smith, with some additional CCTV footage. We appreciate its not the best quality, but we’re hoping it may help to jog someone’s memory.”

Smith, 60, also uses the name Aemon Martin and was last seen near the toilets of the shopping centre.

He is white, grey hair, slim build with a beard and moustache.

Preston Police say he was last seen wearing a hat, cream jeans, grey/red t-shirt, grey cardigan, black coat, black trainers and a backpack. He was also carrying a large TK Maxx bag.

Anyone with information on where he might be can call police on 101 quoting log 0689 of April 25.
