“Chance continues to hammer baseballs all over the park,” Wilmot head coach Karl Richter said. “He added three more hits and has 20 on the season through 11 games.”

BRADFORD 2, CEDARBURG 0 (8 innings): The Red Devils remained perfect on the season Saturday thanks to a two-run eighth inning and a dominant pitching performance from Aubrey Strelow.
In a matchup of two unbeaten teams, it went to extra innings tied 0-0. Madi Strelow drew a lead-off walk for Bradford (13-0) in the eighth. With one out, Mona Duckworth-Torres broke the tie with an RBI double, scoring Madi Strelow.
Aubrey Strelow gave herself an insurance run with another RBI double, and she retired the Cedarburg batters in order in the bottom half to seal the victory.
Aubrey fired eight innings of one-hit ball while striking out 13.
“This was an intense battle from the first pitch,” Bradford head coach John Ruffolo said. “Aubrey attacked Cedarburg hitters with velocity and kept them off balance with an effective change of speed. Shortstop Morgan Smith and catcher Angela Parker anchored our defense. It was awesome to see freshmen Madi Strelow and Mona Duckworth-Torres step up for us with two outstanding at-bats against Cedarburg senior pitcher Cassidy Gall, an NCAA Division 1 commit to Evansville.
“We’ve matched up with some of the best teams in the area and found ways to win. We’re getting contributions from different parts of our batting order every game.”
Cedarburg dropped to 11-1.
Gall allowed two earned runs and only four hits while striking out nine and walking one in eight innings.
Bradford, ranked third in Division 1 in the most recent Wisconsin Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association state poll, travels to Indian Trail Monday at 4:30 p.m.
WESTOSHA CENTRAL 1-1 AT STEVENS POINT QUAD: Central lost its first game of the season Saturday but also knocked off Kimberly Saturday in a tournament in Stevens Point.
The Falcons defeated Kimberly 10-2 after falling to state-ranked Green Bay Preble (No. 9 in Division 1 in the Wisconsin Baseball Coaches Association) in the opener 11-1 in six innings.
In the first game, Sam Erber took the loss, going four innings and allowing six runs on six hits.
The Falcon offense was stymied, only collecting four hits, two by Meghan Lampos, and one each by Lila McNeill and Maya Gagliardi.
Preble put the game away in the sixth, scoring five runs of Addie Feekes.
The last two were a walk-off home run by Tenley Keuhn.
In game two, Central’s bats came to life for 14 hits, including two home runs. The Falcons plated five in the first inning, highlighted by a three-run homer by Alex McKinney. Maya Swanson plated the other two runs when her single brought home both Allie Loucas and Mia Kozak.
The Falcons added two more runs in the second when McNeill scored on an error, and Gagliardi was batted in by Erber.
The Papermakers scored their first run off Lampos in the third. Sophie Hermus singled, scoring Addie Parish who had doubled.
The Falcons got the run right back on a home run by Kozak. Two triples in the fourth (McNeill and McKinney) led to two more runs.
Lampos earned the complete game win, allowing two earned runs on four hits while striking out 15.
“We gave Preble too many chances and didn’t respond well when we were challenged,” Central co-head coach Tom Lampe said. “But we came back and played a really great second game. It was a good experience, and we plan to grow into a better team.”
With the split, the Falcons are 8-1 overall. They return to action on Monday when they host Lake Geneva Badger in a Southern Lakes Conference matchup.

ARROWHEAD 3, TREMPER 1: The Trojans wrapped up their three-day Tournament of Champions in Bettendorf, Iowa, with a tough matchup against Wisconsin’s top-ranked team in Division 1.
In the 18th minute, Chloe Fitch played the ball outside to Presley Flement, who shot from 22 yards out to the far netting for the goal.
However, the Warhawks answered throughout the match and held on for the victory. They scored two goals in the last 10 minutes of the first half to go ahead.
“After a three-day trip, to end it in a great match versus the No. 1 ranked team in the state of Wisconsin, this proved to be a challenging tournament the girls really stepped up for,” Tremper head coach Todd Hardy said. “We had two early opportunities which pinged off the post and later the crossbar in the first five minutes, finally followed by Presley’s goal.
“In the second half, we played great defense and had good control in the middle, but just couldn’t score in the final third. The girls gave great effort all weekend, and we have a lot we have already learned from going forward.”
Tremper dropped to 7-3-1. The Trojans return home against Southeast Conference foe Racine Case Tuesday.
