$150K bond set for Columbia Township man accused of stabbing woman

LORAIN COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) - The man accused of assaulting a woman during a domestic argument Tuesday, was arraigned in Elyria Municipal Court Wednesday.
Shawn Poe, 46, pleaded not guilty and bond was set at $150,000.
Lorain County Sheriff deputies said Poe stabbed a 42-year-old woman inside a home in the 9900 block of Colfax Ave. in Columbia Township Tuesday morning.
When deputies arrived at the home, Poe was being held down in the yard by another household member.
The victim, whose name has not been released, was taken to Southwest General Hospital and then flown to MetroHealth Medical Center for additional care.
Poe is expected back in court on May 1.
