Police are searching for a man who forced a woman into a wooded area in Manassas late Friday into early Saturday and sexually assaulted her.
The attack happened between 11:30 p.m. Friday and 12:30 a.m. Saturday as the 35-year-old victim was walking in the area of Fairmont Avenue and Anvil Drive, Prince William County police Officer Adam Beard said in a news release.

The victim reported she was grabbed by a stranger who forced her into a nearby wooded area where she was sexually assaulted, Beard said. She eventually got away and notified police at 1:30 a.m.
The suspect was Asian or Hispanic with a slim build and short spiked hair. He was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt and hood.

I'm glad the victim had the courage to immediately report this to the police. With the newest DNA techniques the scumbag will be identified and convicted. Hopefully he will be arrested soon, before he rapes another woman, but he will be caught eventually.

Good ole Iron Gate at its finest. Saying the suspect was Hispanic identifies probably 96%+ of the males who live in the area. In all likelihood the victim was also Hispanic.
