At 8:30 p.m., HPD and Henderson firefighters responded to the crash near Galleria Drive, north of Dave Wood Circle. A preliminary investigation revealed that a black 2008 Suzuki motorcycle struck the right-side curb of Galleria.

Both riders were ejected from the motorcycle. Arriving medical personnel declared the motorcyclist dead at the scene, while the passenger was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
